So where does your brighter future begin?
To enrol on a First4Skills Apprenticeship programme, you must:
• Be aged 16-24
• Ideally be working 30 hours per week
• Not be at college or university
• Not hold a degree or NVQ/equivalent at level 4 or above
• Prior achievement will need to be taken into consideration re; funding eligibility
• Maximum age of 19 applies to learners in Scotland
To enrol on a First4Skills Adult Apprenticeship programme, you must:
• Be over the age of 25
• Ideally be working 30 hours per week
• Not be at college or university
• Not hold a degree or NVQ/equivalent at level 4 or above
• Prior achievement will need to be taken into consideration re; funding eligibility
To enrol on a First4Skills Train 4 Skills programme, you must:
• Be aged 19-24
• Work a minimum of 16 hours per week (more than 30 is expected)
• Meet residency criteria
• Meet immigration criteria
• Prior achievement will need to be taken in consideration re; funding eligibility
*Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for 19 to 24 year olds is part funded, with employers expected to make a contribution. Funding for apprentices aged 25+ is very limited and employers are expected to make a part or full contribution.
